On February 10, 2021 – the Port Equipment Manufacturers SBO Online Casino (sbo malaysia) hosted a webinar entitled “Port BULK Challenges post COVID-19”. 

The webinar was held via ZOOM videoconference platform and welcomed over 200 participants. The session included presentations from four leading experts from the Port BULK sector followed by a deep-dive Q&A session.

The centrepiece of the 105-minute webinar, moderated by Dr. Pietro de Michieli – Chair of sbo malaysia’s Equipment Design & Infrastructure Committee, was the presentations delivered by the four keynote speakers:

With emphasis on infrastructure, raw material goods, environment, technical assistance, financial costs, past project where we can obtain views and ideas about the future, our speakers from Russia, Egypt, Italy, and Singapore, examined thoroughly what might be the next challenges in the Port BULK industry post COVID-19. 

“Bulk fleet worldwide was heavily increasing during the last decades offering a lot of opportunities to trade the commodities and simultaneously a lot of challenges. New ports and terminals were planned in the most remote areas as well as many new transhipping operation to export or import materials. On top of this already interesting scenario there will be the post Covid effect which will surely grant a further increase and during Covid period agri-bulk commodities trading improved a lot” says Dr. Pietro de Michieli – Chair of sbo malaysia’s Equipment Design & Infrastructure Committee.
